I would recommend this book as a first orientation to Corsica to get an idea of what's there. I liked how the book was organized according to the main areas of the island: Bastia and the north, Ajaccio and the west, Bonifacio and the south and Corte and the interior.It made general trip planning easy to figure out where to focus your sightseeing and where you will be spending the most time based on the activities available.
It was outdated as I suppose books are allowed to be with restaurants and some attractions though. My husband and I tried to use it to find places to eat in Bastia and at least one place was closed down and another we couldn't find.
Just as a heads up to any Americans that are planning a trip here: brush up on your french! I would recommend this especially if you are staying in the North around Bastia. I had several years of french during my school years but found it quite hard to get by speaking with the locals. It is worth your while to practice in the months prior to relieve a little bit of that stress.
The french phrases that are listed in the back aren't necessarily helpful either, granted that isn't what it is claiming to do. Regardless, don't depend on this book for that. Make sure you are prepared with additional resources such as a smartphone with data plan or french phrasebook and dictionary.

great travel guide
Better than the last issue.
There aren't many guides for Corsica. Eyewitness guides does an excellent job, as usual. I strongly recommend it.
Simply great place to go and drive around the island. Slowly, very slowly...
Great photos, descriptions, given you an idea of where to start so you're not overwhelmed. "La belle Isle" it certainly is!
It's a decent guide book. I prefer the Michelin Green Guides, but for some reason they never made the one for Corsica in English. It does exist in French. Anyway, this guide will tell you what you need to know to get the best out of your trip. It has decent maps and suggestions for hotels and restaurants.
